1st Quarter- Week 1/2

 Chapter 1 Health and Wellness:
The concept of wellness is not easily defined, but wellness generally means that health is multidimensional and includes four parts.  Achieving wellness requires actively working on all four different aspects of health to keep each part at an optimum level.  Because people often think of health in physical terms, the idea of wellness can help students think beyond this narrow view of health.

Question:
List the four parts of Health and briefly describe each.

There is physical health, which is the condition of the body. Mental health, which is how you deal with life's demands. Social health, which is how you interact with people. And emotional health, which is the way you recognize and deal with your emotions.
